We are extremely pleased to announce the arrival of a new aircraft to our fleet, G-CIFY a Piper Archer 3 arrived today painted in an eye catching red and gold livery has joined our growing fleet of aircraft based at Bristol Airport. The Piper PA-28-180 Archer is a four-seat, single-engine, low-wing aircraft made by the Piper Aircraft Company and is one of the more powerful aircraft in the PA-28 family.
This new addition to our fleet will be available for Instrument Rating (IRR) training and Night Rating training to members and students of Bristol & Wessex Aeroplane Club. The aircraft is powered by an 180hp Lycoming engine with a 2 blade Sensenich fixed pitch propellor allowing this aircraft to comfortably cruise at 125 knots.
