Congratulations to Ollie Routh who successfully completed his qualifying cross country flight today, flying over 150 miles and landing at Wolverhampton and Kemble airfields. Ollie is on track to pass his private pilot licence in minimum hours: next stop is his mock skills test.

Congratulations to student Wayne Maguire who completed his first solo circuit at Kemble today under the supervision of instructor Jonathan Cormack. Wayne had a busy day as he also completed a successful navigation exercise to Hereford and Newent, and practiced making mid-air diversions by navigating to Kemble.
Congratulations to student Steve Lynas who completed five solo circuits at Dunkeswell Airfield in Devon today. Steve was landing on their shorter runway which is less than half the length of the tarmac at Bristol Airport. Well done Steve!
