In line with Government guidance and the planned easing of Covid 19 restrictions, the next planned step for Bristol and Wessex will take place on 29th March.
On this date we will be able to welcome back qualified solo pilots wishing to carry out leisure flying, alone or with a member of their family or bubble.
Training for professional pilots and those in training for professional training course purposes can continue.
If you require a check flight we will need to allocate you a time slot when an instructor is available, it is worth noting the airport currently has restricted opening hours, with a 17:00 closing time on a number of days.
Please remember the simulator is available should you wish to refresh that muscle memory before you get airborne.
From 12th April 2021
Flight training for all pilots and flights with an instructor can resume.
Bristol and Wessex will be able to reopen whilst still following Covid secure guidelines, which will include restrictions on numbers allowed in the club and the wearing of face coverings in certain areas.
The club will be able to take bookings, for the 12th April and beyond, from Wednesday 31st March. Once again, if you want to refresh your skills prior to getting in an aircraft the Simulator is a great way to do this.
A decision on bookings for Simulator experiences and Trial flights will be taken by Mid April when greater clarity on the easing of lock down measures is available.
