Our full motion flight simulator experience is the perfect gift for anyone who wants to fly an aircraft without leaving the ground! Each experience is conducted under the supervision of our highly trained and experienced instructors who will guide you through each session. Our full motion simulator re-creates the full motion and feeling sensations of flying a real aircraft complete with fully realistic weather conditions and wrap-around visuals providing fully panoramic scenery detail of the highest quality using the Redbird MCX simulator, the only one of its kind found in the UK.
What can I expect from the flight simulator experience?
Throughout the sim experience you will be able to fly the aircraft with a 180 degree view as well as a complete and functional glass cockpit with all the controls found in a real aircraft. Our SimX is ideal for everyone wanting to take the controls of an aircraft, try something new or to experience the feeling and freedom of flight one step before purchasing one of our range of trial lessons in our fleet of light aircraft. Whatever you decide it's guaranteed to be an experience above all else!
Are there any restrictions on the flight simulator experiences?
Our flight sim experience at Bristol Airport is available to anyone over the age of 12. Our experienced instructors will be able to explain the controls and ensure you have a great experience, whatever your age! We also offer trial lessons for the more adventurous who doesn't mind leaving the ground.
All vouchers hold a 6 month validity period from the date of the purchase for customers to use, please ensure that you plan your booking in plenty of time as vouchers can not be cancelled or extended. Your voucher must be used within 6 months of purchasing. All vouchers are subject to our terms and conditions.
How do I book a flight sim experience?
Initially you need to choose the duration of the flight simulator experience, our 30 minute flight simulator experience which will allow a short virtual flight from Bristol Airport, alternatively our 60 minute flight simulator experience will allow you to fly that bit further, allow you to see more and practice various manoevures. We also offer a flight simulator experience and lunch package which really is a great gift, the recipient will take the controls in the sim for 30 minutes and then enjoy a fantastic lunch in The Flight Lounge afterwards.
Once you have chosen the trial lesson that suits your requirements enter the recipient name and Add to Basket, you will then need to proceed through the checkout. Once completed and payment has been made you will be emailed a Trial Lesson Voucher that you need to print and bring along with you on the day of your flight. Where can I park?
We have free on-site parking which is included in the cost of the trial lesson, simply obtain a free parking pass at the reception desk on your arrival.
