Congratulations to student Wayne Maguire who completed his first solo circuit at Kemble today under the supervision of instructor Jonathan Cormack. Wayne had a busy day as he also completed a successful navigation exercise to Hereford and Newent, and practiced making mid-air diversions by navigating to Kemble.
Congratulations to student Steve Lynas who completed five solo circuits at Dunkeswell Airfield in Devon today. Steve was landing on their shorter runway which is less than half the length of the tarmac at Bristol Airport. Well done Steve!

Congratulations to Jack Sewell who passed his private pilot licence (PPL) skills test today and received very positive feedback from the examiner on his performance. Jack is training to be a commercial pilot and is now starting hours building with Bristol and Wessex whilst he studies for his Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
Congratulations to Jack Sewell who completed his qualifying cross country flight today. Jack flew and landed at Exeter before going on to land at Kemble in Gloucestershire and return to Bristol: a flight of over 150 nautical miles. Jack is one of our commercial track students and is on track to pass his private pilot licence in minimum hours.

Jon is a dedicated and talented pilot who passed in minimum hours including a commercial length qualifying cross country navigation exercise.
