The UK CAA has changed the way their PPL Examinations are performed, launched earlier this month all student undergoing PPL courses no longer complete written examinations but complete an online examination which consists of randomly selected questions.
The change was brought about by the Civil Aviation Authority to “improve customer experience through an enhanced digital offering.” The new platform was to be rolled out and trialled by a selection of trial flying schools across the UK over the summer months, but this was put on hold during the current Covid-19 pandemic. It has been launched recently.
Students need to register with the CAA in order to use this new platform and we have put together this article to ensure students are ready for their upcoming exams. A full CAA guide with links on where to register and more in-depth information can be found here.
