We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our annual summer barbecue on Saturday 17th June 2017 from 11.00am until late. This event coincides nicely with the Weston Air Day as many interesting and rare aircraft will be based at the airport before putting on their displays at the seaside resort, at this stage we are unable to confirm which aircraft types will be visiting but in previous years Catalina and Typhoons have been based at the airport over the weekend.
Tickets are now on sale for this event where visitors can enjoy free parking, fantastic barbecue, full licensed bar and a bouncy castle for the children to enjoy, we are hoping for great weather so our guests can enjoy the summer weather and event outdoors.
This is a ticket only event costing £5 for adults and £2 for children (up to 7 years old), tickets can be purchased from our website or in person at the club. Tickets gain entry to the event and to the secure free car parking where flying club members will be given priority parking, visitors will be welcome to park for free either in our own car park or within additional parking nearby. Our facilities will be open to the public from 11:00am until late into the evening.
An enhanced adult ticket can also be purchased for £10 that enables an adult 10 minutes flying experience in our brand new full motion, light aircraft simulator. Our full motion simulator re-creates the full motion and sensations of flying a real light aircraft complete with realistic weather conditions and visuals that provides a fully panoramic scenery detail of the highest quality using the Redbird MCX simulator, the only one of its kind found in the UK.
This event cannot be missed, please purchase your tickets online, in the club or by giving us a call, in previous years’ tickets sold out very quickly so we advise purchasing your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Please Note: We cannot be held responsible or guarantee which aircraft will be based at the airport for the Weston Air Day.
