On the 11th June 2016 students, visitors and guests at Bristol and Wessex Aeroplane Club welcomed the Red Arrows to Bristol Airport, later in the day they were also joined by 2 Eurofighter Typhoons they stayed with us all weekend attracting many visitors to catch a glimpse of the pilots and aircraft of the iconic fleet which is an unusual sight to the regular passenger aircraft commonly seen at the airport.
Visitors to the club enjoyed a barbecue, fully licensed bar, garden games, bouncy castle and ice creams.
The display team made an overnight stop before heading over the Bristol Channel to Barry Island before heading back to Bristol, the Red Arrows will also be back next weekend for the Weston Air Festival.
