Round Up
March flying hours were double that of the preceding month although the good days were interspersed with some shocking ones. Sadly the day of the planned fly out was not good but hey ho, early in the season yet..
Events & Social Evenings
Thursday 7th April 1000 Day out to Swanwick. For those going the mini-bus leaves at 0745 local, see you bright and early. We’ll be open from 0715 with the coffee on, and don’t forget your passport.
Saturday 7th May Back by popular demand – fly out to Alderney. As usual, let us know if you wish to book an aircraft, have a spare seat, or are looking for one. If you’re not based here at Bristol let us know if you’re flying out and we’ll see you there.
Saturday 4th June Several suggestions so far ranging from an air museum to another country! Probably best to wait until nearer the time to see what the weather’s doing, but put the date in your diary, book the aircraft and standby.
We’re in the midst of putting together a program of evening talks and events, so please bear with us until next month. If anyone has an idea for something they’d like then do let us know.
Achievements
Congratulations to Daryl Noyce on passing his skills test, just in time for the wonderful summer we’re about to have – well, we’re certainly due for one!
And Finally
Although everyone at B&W is of course pleased for the lovely young couple, if you’d like a refuge from royal wedding fever why not come flying, we’re open as usual.
