If you’ve got the bug and have always wanted to fly, let’s take away the mystery.
Although there is no lower age limit to fly, you must be 14 years of age for flying experience to count towards your licence, 16 to go solo and 17 to hold a licence. The good news is there is no upper age limit.​

We always encourage anyone who is interested in flying to visit us for an informal chat. This is a great opportunity to have a closer look at and sit in the aircraft, and to have all your questions answered.

A friendly, professional flying club based at Bristol International Airport. With a great view of the airfield, indoor/outdoor seating and a licensed Cafe and Bar, the club is open to all and has plenty of free parking. Offering a whole host of training from the Private Pilots Licence (PPL) through to the Night Qualification and IMC Rating, and If you are new to the world of aviation we also provide a wide range of trial lessons as tasters, or to get you started on the road towards a PPL. Our highly professional instructors have an admirable reputation for their excellent standards. Tailoring each lesson to individual requirements they ensure success for every student. Open seven days a week including some evenings you can fit your flying around busy jobs and family life.
